DMT Sessions is the thirteenth studio album by Esham. The album was released on June 21, 2011. A deluxe edition was announced, which was supposed to feature bonus tracks and a documentary (shockumentary) entitled Death of an Indie Label, but the documentary and the bonus track "Comatose" were instead uploaded to Esham Smith's YouTube channel. “I filled the musical prescription my fans were asking for with the DMT Sessions, AND gave them a vocabulary lesson,” said Esham. This album was a change from Esham’s typical blend of rock and rap, taking much of it’s flavor from the underground sounds of South London.
